Leadership for Women - Two Days

Women face unique challenges in leadership. Progress your career by developing key skills in leading teams, assertive and effective communication, self awareness, self management, delegation, leadership coaching, and empowerment of yourself as leader and your team members. In this program you will explore your own leadership style, learn the important qualities of highly effective leaders and practice powerful negotiation and conflict management skills.

This empowering workshop provides an opportunity for women who would like to develop their skills in leadership while networking and learning from other women. Sessions will include:

• Communicating with authenticity and Influence
•  Building your profile, style and reputation as a leader
• Develop and increase your comfort with having political astuteness as well as strategies for using your power and influence more effectively
• Develop strategies to more assertively manage conflict
• Clarification of your values and how they fit with your organizational culture
• Strategies to manage performance issues
• How to deal with inappropriate behavior in the workplace
• Building teams including participation in a team building exercise allowing you to practice the new behaviours and strategies you have learned
• Develop an honest picture of your strengths and developmental needs
• Practice leadership skills in groups and receive feedback in a safe environment
• Complete your leadership action plan which may include your professional and personal priorities
