I've been meaning to get back in touch with you guys for a while now and your newsletter last week inspired me to do so.

I'll start by saying how much I like your newsletters. I don't don't know which one of you writes them, or if they're a joint effort; but really; you guys should write a book.

The thoughts, philosophies, reflections and feelings that you manage to put into those newsletters are truly magnificent.

I read a lot of self help / improvement books and literature, but I reckon what you guys do is better than a lot of the published stuff.

I printed out and have kept your newsletter from last year on recognising your intentions; I find it a simple yet powerful tool.

After reading last weeks newsletter on taking time out; I took my dog for a walk in the bush down the road from my house last weekend. Just the two of us spent a magical two hours in the bush, just 'being'.

I came back from that outing, fresher, happier, focussed and more content with my 'life' than I've been in ages.

So, I thank you for that.

Aha Moment

"I am a Vietnam Veteran and over the years have sought counselling for post traumatic stress disorder.  I have been having individual sessions and wanted to bring my partner along for a couple’s session.  To be honest I was expecting to receive a battering.  After some initial conversation we did an exercise where we both wrote down what we appreciated about each other and then told each other.  I was so surprised how wonderful this made me feel and the incredibly positive effect this had on my partner. It was so simple and in all the years I have been attending counselling this was the most effective session I feel I’ve ever had.  I can’t believe it was so simple!"
